Hi everyone,

I have news of two special live shows coming up really soon from Gilroy Mere, celebrating his new album Furlongs, Inspired by the landscape of the South Downs and Eric Ravilious’ paintings of the area, which is out on 4th September.

For these dates, Gilroy Mere will be performing with a full band.

The first show takes place at the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne on Friday 31st July — a particularly fitting venue given the gallery’s wonderful collection of Ravilious works. The following night, on Saturday 1st August, Gilroy Mere will be performing at the Horse Hospital in London as part of the Concrete Atlantis Lammas Night Gathering, along with Justin Hopper and Rachel Poulton.

I’m really looking forward to attending the London show. We’ll have copies of the CD available, along with the remaining (now sold out) Furlongs badges. Fingers crossed the vinyl arrives in time!
